2-Story Homes
We are now offering custom floorplans in our 2-story homes.
Due to the modular nature of our houses, certain design considerations must be
incorporated that may be somewhat different than our "normal"
specifications---and these specifications are a work in progress and are subject
to changes without notice. A 2-story home is a four piece house---basically a
"double decker." The top two pieces are crane lifted onto the bottom
sections, and the entire house is finished inside. All 2-Story plans must be approved by our "design specialist"
prior to pricing quotes or home orders.
Base prices are figured as

We, at Design Homes, are often
asked, "What is the base price...and what's included in it?" The base
price is simply the starting price for any home, and includes everything noted on the "Specifications" page. Generally,
everything that is essential in a new house is included in the base price, but most people
will upgrade a few things and add some "options."
(Note: All 1-1/2 Story and 2-Story plans must be approved by our design people)
