2-Story Homes
Two-story homes, unlike other Design Homes, cannot be custom designed due to the complicated nature of running plumbing and heat ducts to the 2nd story. A 2-story home is a four piece house--basically a "double decker." The top two pieces are crane lifted onto the bottom sections, and the entire house is finished inside. The floorplan can only be changed in minor ways which do not affect the heat and plumbing runs. All 2-Story plans must be approved by our "design specialist."

We, at Design Homes, are often
asked, "What is the base price...and what's included in it?" The base
price is simply the starting price for any home, and includes everything noted on the "Specifications" page. Generally,
everything that is essential in a new house is included in the base price, but most people
will upgrade a few things and add some "options."
